Municipal Election

The City Clerk serves as the Municipal Supervisor of Elections. Candidates for municipal office must file the appropriate forms with the City Clerk prior to opening a campaign account and to qualify for office. Elections are conducted in accordance with the provisions of Title IX, Florida Statutes (Chapters 97-106).  

The City Commission of the City of Wilton Manors is comprised of five elected registered voters that reside within the City limits of Wilton Manors. All seats are at-large. The Mayor serves for a term of two years. The remaining four Commission seats serve for terms of four years. Elections are held every two years, in even-numbered years in November.

The next general municipal election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Election dates are available on the Supervisor of Elections website. For more information, please call the City Clerk's Office.

Residents are encouraged to register to vote or check their voter status, in advance of the election. To register or check your voter registration status, visit https://registertovoteflorida.gov/

Important Dates

Resignations due pursuant to Resign-to-Run Law. (Section 99.012, F.S. At least 10 days prior to the first day of qualifying)

Qualifying begins at noon (F.S. § 99.061 – noon of the 71st day prior to the primary election)

Qualifying ends at noon (F.S. § 99.061 – no later than noon of the 67th day prior to the primary election)

Last day to register to vote for the General Election (Section 97.055, F.S. – 29 days prior to day of the election)  BOOK CLOSING
