Important Planning Documents

Climate Action Plan 

The City's of Wilton Manors and Oakland Park worked together in 2019 to create and follow a Joint Climate Action Plan.  In 2024, the two cities updated the Plan.  

Here is the 2024 Wilton Manors/Oakland Park Updated Joint Climate Action Plan.  

The Main Goals Of This Plan Are To

  • Mitigate the effects of climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 1% each year through the year 2028
  • Increase resilience of our communities while minimizing impacts to efficiency and cost-effective business operations.

Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment

Wilton Manors received a grant from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to conduct a sea level rise vulnerability assessment. This document was guided by an Interdisciplinary Steering Committee, Community Recommendations, City Commission Meetings, and Committee Meetings.

City Strategic Plan

This is a plan created during a Commission-led Strategic Planning Workshop. The plan includes six goals that address infrastructure improvements, economic development, quality of life and livability, efficient government, fiscal responsibility, and environmental sustainability. 

Water, Sewer, and Stormwater Masterplan

This masterplan will allow Wilton Manors to successfully manage growth and provide the City's residents and businesses with great services for their utilities. This will enable Wilton Manors to grow at a sustainable rate, and make sure the infrastructure changes with the growing needs of the City.
