City Parks

The Parks and Recreation Division of the Leisure Services Department operates many diverse parks ranging in size, amenities, and purposes. The City operates five Community Centers with programmed activities such as tennis lessons, yoga, square dancing, Hula Dance, etc. In addition to programmed activities, each of our community centers host events, rentals, meetings, etc., throughout the year.

Our Community Centers include Hagen Park Community Center, Island City Park Preserve, Richardson Historic Park Manor House / Carriage House, the Island City Cultural Center and Mickel Park Meeting Room. Each of these facilities offer unique opportunities for rentals and special events, including birthday parties, weddings, meetings, art galleries, etc. Pavilions are also available for rent at Hagen Park, Island City Park Preserve, Mickel Park and Richardson Historic Park. Click on each of the parks to experience the amenities each provides.

For more information, including pavilions, rental availability, and park hours, you can check out each individual park in the left-hand column of this page or call our Administrative Office at 954-390-2130.
