Darren J. Brodsky, Assistant Chief of Police
============================
He began his law enforcement career in 1994 with the Plantation Police Department after attending the 169th session of the Broward College Institute of Public Safety Police Academy. His almost twenty-seven year tenure at the Plantation Police Department included multiple assignments, ranks and positions. Assistant Chief Brodsky worked as a Road Patrol Officer, Sergeant, Detective, School Resource Officer, Internal Affairs Sergeant, Street Crimes Sergeant, SWAT Operator and Commander, Lieutenant, Captain and Deputy Police Chief.
Assistant Chief Brodsky currently supervises our operations division that consists of our road patrol division, community policing, traffic unit and special event management.
Assistant Chief Brodsky holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Florida in Political Science and a Master’s Degree from Florida Atlantic University in Public Administration. He is a graduate of the 264th session of the FBI National Academy. Assistant Chief Brodsky is an associate member of the Broward County Chiefs of Police Association and the Florida Police Chiefs Association.
Lluis Gorgoy, Administrative Manager

Administrative Manager Gorgoy currently supervises the administrative functions of the department, which involve Records, Purchasing, Contract Administration, Financial Administration/Budget, and the Front Desk Unit.Administrative Manager Gorgoy holds an associate’s degree from Miami-Dade Community College and a bachelor’s degree from Florida International University. In addition, he has a Certification from the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing.
Sergeant Biagio Balistreri, Training

Sergeant Balistreri joined the Wilton Manors Police Department in November 1995 as a civilian employee where he worked as a Desk Officer and Police Service Aide. In January 1998 Sergeant Balistreri attended the 187th session of Broward College Institute of Public Safety Police Academy. Sergeant Balistreri has served in Road Patrol, Traffic Unit, Marine Patrol, Bicycle Patrol, Broward County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Detective Bureau, Code Compliance Supervisor and Criminal Investigations Sergeant.
Sergeant Balistreri currently supervises our Training Unit and he is focused on developing and providing advanced continuing training and education to the members of the Wilton Manors Police Department. Sergeant Balistreri is also responsible for cadet officers and our Field Training Program.
Sergeant Balistreri is currently attending Vincennes University in his endeavor to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree in Homeland Security and Public Safety.
Sergeant Balistreri has been the recipient of the Meritorious Service Award and the Officer of the Quarter Award.
Sergeant Frank Pilewski, Road Patrol

Sergeant Pilewski began his career with the Wilton Manors Police Department in October 2005 as a Desk Officer and he was quickly promoted to Road Patrol Officer in 2006. During this time he served the agency as a Field Training Officer, Marine Patrol Officer and a PBA Representative before being assigned to the Detective Bureau in 2008 . During his time as a Detective, Sergeant Pilewski worked various criminal investigations which included death investigations, property crimes, violent crimes and economic crimes.
Sergeant Pilewski has been selected as the Agency’s Officer of the Quarter twice, he has been awarded with the Meritorious Service Award and he was selected as our 2007 Officer of the Year.
Sergeant William Findlan, Road Patrol

Sergeant Bill Findlan joined our Wilton Manors Police Department in April of 2015. He has served in the patrol division, the multi-agency field force, the traffic unit, and as a field training officer in his time with us. He is a department firearms instructor, first aid instructor, ballistic shield instructor, Vehicle Close Quarters Battle Instructor, and armorer. Additionally, Sergeant Findlan serves as a police academy adjunct instructor at the Broward College Institute of Public Safety. He has done a tremendous amount of good for those he serves with and our community, receiving multiple shift level and resident commendations; one (1) Life Saving award and Officer of the Quarter in 2017.
Sergeant Findlan began his public safety career in 1986 as a firefighter for Fort Lauderdale Fire-Rescue. He served as a firefighter, driver-engineer, lieutenant, battalion chief, division chief, and assistant fire chief and retired as a deputy fire chief in 2015 after twenty-nine (29) years of service.
Over the course of his career in Fort Lauderdale, he obtained certifications as a paramedic, hazardous materials technician, dive rescue technician, trench rescue technician, fire service instructor, and served as a fire academy instructor. He spent seventeen (17) years as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue Hazardous Materials Response Team.
From 2000 to 2011, he served as a S.W.A.T. Medic for the Fort Lauderdale Police Department Special Weapons and Tactics Team (S.W.A.T). From 2006 to 2015, he served as an auxiliary state trooper for the Florida Highway Patrol assigned to Troop L in Broward County.
Sergeant Findlan holds a Bachelor’s of Professional Studies from Barry University and an Associate of Science in Fire Science from Broward College.
Sergeant Robert Cohen, Detective Bureau

Sergeant Cohen joined the Wilton Manors Police Department in 2002 and attended the 210th Session of the Broward Institute of Public Safety Police Academy. He has served the Agency in Road Patrol, Field Training Officer, Bicycle Unit, Marine Patrol and Street Crimes. Sergeant Cohen was also a member of the Multi-Agency United States Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force.
Sergeant Cohen was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2011 where he has served as a Road Patrol Sergeant until 2019 when he transferred to the Detective Bureau.
Sergeant Michael Littleton, Road Patrol
Police Department for 14 years. Sergeant Littleton began his career in Law Enforcement in 2004 with the Florida Atlantic University Police Department as a Police Service Technician and then as a Law Enforcement Officer in 2007. In 2010, Sergeant Littleton was promoted to the rank of Corporal, ascending to Sergeant in 2014. His previous work experience included that of a Field Training Officer. This training provided him the tools to craft policies and procedures, leading to his solid leadership and management foundation. Sergeant Littleton served the FAU Community at the rank of Police Sergeant until he departed in 2018, when he joined the Wilton Manors PD as a Patrol Officer.
Accolades received during his tenure here include a Life-Saving Award and several other professional commendations from his peers and Sergeant. Sergeant Littleton holds an Associate of Ministerial Studies Degree from International Seminary.
