Planning & Zoning Board

Functions

The Planning and Zoning Board is the planning agency for the City. The board also hears applications for rezoning and replatting and makes their recommendation to the City Commission. The board approves site plans and makes recommendations to the City Commission regarding site plans.

Planning and Zoning Board meetings are held on the second Monday of each month.  

The Planning and Zoning Board was created by ordinance and is located in the City's Unified land Development Regulations (ULDR).  The board's enacting Legislation can be found in Article 130,  Division 1 of the Code of Ordinances. If you are interested in serving on the Planning and Zoning Board, fill out the application, linked below, and submit to the City Clerk's Office, at CityClerk@wiltonmanors.com.  The Planning and Zoning Board requires that applicants are registered voters in the City.

When there is a board opening applicants will be asked to attend the City Commission Meeting to introduce themselves to the Commission prior to selection and appointment.  Applications are held for one (1) year, expiring at the end of each calendar year.

Members are appointed by the City Commission and serve a two-year term.
