Where: City Hall/Hagen Park Parking Lot, 2020 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, FL 33305
The City’s solid waste, recycling and household hazardous waste contractor, Coastal Waste & Recycling, has contracted with The Red Shredder to provide this FREE, secure and confidential shredding service. All resulting paper shreds are removed from the waste stream and recycled into new products. Hard-drive punching will also be available.
Wilton Manors residents:
You will need to bring proof of residency (such as a driver’s license or utility bill showing your Wilton Manors address).
Wilton Manors business owners:
You will need to bring a copy of your current Wilton Manors Business Tax Receipt.
Please follow these guidelines to ensure a smooth drop-off process:
Event hours are 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Service is available only to Wilton Manors residents and businesses.
Residents must provide proof with a valid Driver License or utility bill showing your Wilton Manors address.
Businesses must provide a Business Tax Receipt issued by the City.
Your documents must be removed from any binder or other hard cover, and have no binder clips (staples and small paper clips are acceptable).
Hard drives must be removed from your computer.
Quantity of documents is limited to a volume of no more than six (6) standard-size file boxes/containers per household or business. This also generally relates to six (6) standard file cabinet drawers or three (3) lateral file cabinet drawers.
City staff will be on-site to assist with removing boxes/containers from your vehicle. Upon request, containers will be returned.
Materials are typically dropped off for destruction so you can go about your day, however, you may remain on-site until your materials are loaded into the shredding truck. Loads are processed in batches, so you may have to wait 10-15 minutes. Rest assured, this is a secure event.
