At long last, the Wilton Drive Landscape and Irrigation Project is expected to get underway shortly.  The project calls for repairs to the existing irrigation system, additions to the irrigation system, and installation of approximately sixty trees and groundcovers.

The Wilton Drive Improvement District has created a website, wiltondrive.org, to promote the businesses on the Drive.    Check out wiltondrive.org, and sign up for the weekly eblasts.

The SR811/NE 4th Avenue/Wilton Drive Lane Elimination Project is cosponsored by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), the City of Fort Lauderdale and the City of Wilton Manors.  The road construction portion of the project funded by a grant from the Broward County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO).

The project is in the design phase with construction expected in late 2018.

Here's the presentation provided by FDOT in a public comment meeting of the Wilton Drive Improvement District on March 30, 2017.

While the MPO is paying for the roadway redesign and the FDOT is managing the construction contract, the City of Wilton Manors is designing and constructing the landscape and hardscape portions of the project.   Questions or comments?  Contact Pamela Landi at plandi@wiltonmanors.com
