Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Projects
The City completed the 47th-year CDBG project, which consisted of a new stormwater drainage system was installed along portions of NW 26th Street and NW 8th Avenue, just east of Powerline Road.
Facility Painting
The entryway and hallways at City Hall have been repainted as well as the exteriors of the structures at the following parks: Richardson Historic Park and Nature Preserve, Island City Park Preserve, Hagen Park.
Water Line Replacement
The City Commission approved Resolution 2022-094 during the October 11, 2022, City Commission meeting, approving a construction agreement with Murphy Pipeline Contractors to replace sewer lines in Manor Grove Condominiums.
Roadway Improvements
Sidewalk improvements were made on NE 24th Street and the intersection on NE 15th Avenue was raised.
Landscaping Improvements
The Wilton Drive landscaping project has been completed. The beautification project along the Drive features new trees, shrubs, ground cover, and trash bins helping to ensure Life's Just Better and Greener Here.
Broward County Transportation Surtax Projects
Construction of the City’s first two Transportation Surtax Program projects have been completed and included the installation of landscaping and irrigation along Wilton Drive and the raised intersections along NE 15th Avenue, south of NE 26th Street and the installation of sidewalks along the south side of NE 24th Street, west of NE 15th Avenue.
